Themed Albums
When most artists start to make a song they don't really know how it is going to end up. The same is for albums. Most rappers are like, here is my album full of random songs that have no point.. I think people should do more preparation for the topic of their tracks. I have been thinking to make something video game related, I would like to release an album full of hero theme songs or something like that. If the songs are good then I'll have instant fanbase without much need to advertise. I think new artists should at first focus to be more popular on smaller communities. Just a thought.. :)

I completely agree that more artists should make their albums consistent in themselves. I think Beck is a good example; he usually does very different things from album to album, but the albums themselves have consistent themes!
I like hearing remixes of video game music. nostalgia :)
@Justin. Agreed, Beck is a great example.
yes that is obvious
I got the same feeling, and trying to end with power punch at end. you got right brother.
i rather stick with music i already listen to then find new stuff
ill bill - hour of reprisal
whole album about conspiracies :3
Concept albums are definitely the way to go. Just be careful not to put blinkers on your eventual artistic expressions.
i love videogame influenced music.
i really dont care for minimal techno.
what you are talking about is already named. The process is called a concept album i believe? something like linkin park's meteora or TOOL's album Lateralus.
They are rare, Pink Floyd the wall is another fine example.
